Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Audiometrist to conduct hearing tests, diagnose hearing issues, and recommend suitable hearing aids or rehabilitation solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in audiology, patient care, and hearing assessment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Hearing Assessment & Diagnosis
- Conduct hearing tests, pure-tone audiometry, tympanometry, and speech audiometry.
- Assess patients with hearing loss, tinnitus, or other auditory issues.
- Interpret audiometric test results and discuss findings with patients.
2. Patient Consultation & Counseling
- Explain hearing test results and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Assist patients in selecting hearing aids, assistive listening devices, or therapy options.
- Provide counseling and guidance on hearing protection and rehabilitation.
3. Hearing Aid Fitting & Calibration
- Fit, program, and adjust hearing aids based on patient needs.
- Educate patients on hearing aid maintenance and usage.
- Perform routine hearing aid checks, servicing, and troubleshooting.
4. Record Keeping & Follow-ups
- Maintain accurate patient records and hearing test reports.
- Schedule follow-ups for hearing aid adjustments and progress monitoring.
- Work closely with ENT specialists and audiologists for advanced diagnosis.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Audiometry, Hearing Science, or related field.
- Proficiency in audiometric testing, hearing aid fitting, and calibration.
- Strong communication and patient-handling skills.
- Knowledge of ENT disorders, speech therapy, and assistive hearing technology.
- Ability to work in hospitals, clinics, or hearing care centers.
