Job Description
Audit & Assurance
- Plan, execute, and finalize statutory, internal, and tax audits.
- Review working papers, audit findings, and financial statements.
- Ensure audits comply with applicable accounting and auditing standards.
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements.
Taxation
- Manage direct and indirect tax compliance for clients/organization.
- Review and file income tax returns, TDS returns, and tax audit reports.
- Provide advisory support on tax planning and tax assessments.
Accounting & Financial Review
- Review books of accounts, ledgers, and financial statements.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
GST Compliance
- Prepare and file GST Annual Returns (GSTR-9) and Reconciliation Statement (GSTR-9C).
- Review monthly GST filings and ensure compliance with GST laws.
- Handle GST audits, queries, notices, and assessments.
Team Leadership & Client Management
- Lead and guide audit teams throughout engagements.
- Train junior staff and monitor their performance.
- Communicate effectively with clients and provide regular updates.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
