Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Design Engineer (Civil) to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate 2D and 3D designs, technical drawings, and construction plans using AutoCAD. This role requires expertise in civil engineering design, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with architects, engineers, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Drafting:

    • Create detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings for civil engineering projects, including roads, drainage, foundations, and structural components.
    • Modify and update existing designs based on project requirements and feedback.
    • Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and regulations.

  • Project Coordination:

    • Work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to understand design requirements.
    • Incorporate survey and geotechnical data into project drawings.
    • Assist in preparing construction and permit drawings.

  • Software Utilization:

    • Use AutoCAD and other design software such as Civil 3D, Revit, or STAAD Pro for creating detailed drawings.
    • Ensure compatibility of drawings with BIM and GIS platforms if required.

  • Quality Control & Compliance:

    • Conduct self-checking and review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project specifications.
    • Maintain proper documentation and version control for all design files.
    • Ensure designs comply with local and international building codes and engineering standards.

  • Site Support & Documentation:

    • Assist the site team by providing necessary drawings and modifications during construction.
    • Prepare reports, design calculations, and material specifications.
    • Participate in site visits to collect data, verify dimensions, and support the engineering team.
