Job Description
Introduction
We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Designer to join our design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings, plans, and layouts using AutoCAD software. This role requires strong technical drawing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with engineers and architects to produce accurate and high-quality designs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design & Drafting

Create 2D and 3D drawings, plans, and layouts for projects based on specifications and requirements.

Convert concept sketches, drawings, or models into detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD.

Prepare drawings for construction, manufacturing, or engineering purposes.

Ensure drawings meet standards, codes, and client requirements.
2. Collaboration & Coordination
-
Work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to understand project requirements.

Revise and update drawings based on feedback from clients, supervisors, or team members.

Coordinate with other design and drafting teams to maintain consistency and accuracy.
3. Documentation & Quality Control
-
Maintain organized project documentation, drawing revisions, and version control.

Ensure drawings are accurate, complete, and error-free before submission.

Prepare bill of materials, cut lists, and technical specifications if required.
4. Software & Tools
-
Proficient in AutoCAD for 2D drafting and 3D modeling.

Familiarity with other design software (e.g., Revit, SolidWorks, SketchUp) is an advantage.

Ability to produce high-quality renderings and visualizations if needed.

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and 3D drafting.

Understanding of engineering and architectural drawing standards.
