Job Summary:
The AutoCAD Designer will be responsible for creating detailed 2D/3D drawings, modifying designs, and collaborating with engineers and project teams. The ideal candidate should have strong AutoCAD proficiency, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of design principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Drafting & Designing:
- Create detailed 2D and 3D designs using AutoCAD and other design software.
- Prepare technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics for architecture, engineering, or manufacturing projects.
- Modify and update existing drawings based on feedback and project requirements.
Project Collaboration & Documentation:
- Work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to develop accurate designs.
- Ensure that designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and project guidelines.
- Maintain and organize design files, documentation, and revisions.
Quality Control & Revisions:
- Conduct self-checks and peer reviews to ensure drawing accuracy.
- Make necessary modifications and improvements based on feedback from clients or technical teams.
- Ensure designs meet safety, material, and structural requirements.
