Job Description
4-7 years of experience working in software quality Desktop testing experience; web and/or mobile testing experience a plus
· Good at coding in Javascript
· Hands on experience with nodejs and a JS based test framework like Jest preferable
· Collaborate with quality and dev engineers to ensure project deliverables meet the required quality standards
· Experience executing test plans, filing bugs and working with engineering teams to resolve issues and verify fixes
· Ability to work independently
· Experience working with web services or other server-based APIs
· Knowledge of unit testing and build processes-Ant, Maven, Hudson or Cruise Control
· Transform requirements into architectural and feature specs, contribute with valuable ideas to the service architecture for automation suites
· Execute acceptance test run on release candidate software, guided by existing test plans.
· Design and implement features, required APIs, test suites or technology according to specifications
· Review specifications and test plans, identifying gaps in coverage and supplementing with new test cases.
· Manage desktop environments for accurate install/update testing.
