Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Automobile Sales Executive to join our automotive dealership team. The primary responsibility of this role is to assist customers in purchasing new or used vehicles that meet their needs, while delivering a superior buying experience. The Sales Executive must possess excellent interpersonal skills, a passion for automobiles, and a thorough understanding of the vehicle inventory, features, financing options, and after-sales services.
As the first point of contact for prospective buyers, the Sales Executive plays a vital role in increasing customer satisfaction and achieving showroom sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Interaction and Needs Assessment

Greet walk-in customers at the showroom and offer professional assistance in their buying journey.

Engage in meaningful conversations to understand customer needs, preferences, and budget.

Suggest suitable models and variants based on the customer's requirements (e.g., mileage, size, features, and performance).

Take customers through product demonstrations, test drives, and technical comparisons between models.
2. Sales Process and Vehicle Delivery

Conduct vehicle walkarounds and explain the key features, specifications, safety systems, and value propositions.

Prepare detailed quotations and assist customers with finance, exchange, and insurance options.

Close sales through effective negotiation, persuasion, and transparent communication.

Ensure all documentation (KYC, registration, loan applications, etc.) is complete and accurate.

Coordinate with backend teams to ensure smooth delivery of the vehicle and conduct post-sale customer follow-ups.
3. Product Knowledge and Updates

Maintain in-depth knowledge of current vehicle inventory, new launches, variant differences, pricing, and offers.

Stay updated on competitor vehicles, pricing, and industry trends to handle objections and increase conversions.

Participate in product training, sales workshops, and dealership meetings to enhance technical knowledge and sales strategies.
4. Lead Management and Reporting

Follow up on online inquiries, showroom visits, referrals, and test drive leads to convert them into bookings.

Maintain proper records of prospects and daily activity in CRM or sales logbooks.

Report daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance to the Sales Manager.

Actively participate in campaigns, roadshows, exhibitions, and promotions to generate leads and brand awareness.
5. Customer Satisfaction and Relationship Building

Provide excellent pre-sales and post-sales service to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

Handle customer complaints or concerns with empathy and ensure timely resolution.

Encourage referrals and repeat sales by building long-term relationships with customers.

Share information about vehicle service schedules, warranty policies, and add-on accessories.
