Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Prep Work: Sand, clean, and fill dents or scratches on vehicles.

Painting: Mix and apply paint evenly using spray guns or airbrushes.

Finishing: Apply clear coats for a shiny, smooth finish and polish if needed.

Equipment Care: Keep painting tools and spray equipment clean and in good working order.

Safety: Follow safety rules, wearing protective gear and handling chemicals safely.

Experience in painting vehicles or similar work.

Knowledge of painting tools and materials.

Attention to detail to make sure the finish is flawless.

Ability to work with others and communicate clearly.
Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent (vocational or technical certificate in automotive painting is a plus).

Experience:

Previous experience in automotive painting or a similar field.

Experience with both manual and automated painting tools (spray guns, airbrushes, etc.) and techniques.

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of automotive paint products and tools, including spray booths, color mixers, and sanding equipment.

Familiarity with paint matching systems and color correction techniques.

Ability to work with different types of paints, including water-based, solvent-based, and custom finishes.

Attention to Detail:

High level of attention to detail to ensure smooth, even, and flawless finishes.

Ability to notice small imperfections in both the preparation and final painting stages.

Safety Awareness:

Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to the use of hazardous materials (paints, solvents, etc.).

Comfortable using protective gear (respirators, gloves, goggles) and working in a controlled environment.
