Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled AV Engineer to design, implement, and maintain audio-visual systems in corporate offices, conference rooms, event spaces, and other facilities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AV technologies, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless audiovisual solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, install, configure, and maintain AV systems including projectors, displays, video conferencing equipment, sound systems, microphones, and control systems.
Provide technical support for day-to-day AV operations and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
Collaborate with IT teams and end-users to integrate AV systems with networks, video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex), and other communication tools.
Manage and maintain AV infrastructure in meeting rooms, auditoriums, training rooms, and event spaces.
Conduct preventive maintenance and system upgrades to ensure reliability and optimal performance.
Program and configure AV control systems (Crestron, AMX, Extron) as per requirements.
Document system designs, configurations, and changes for future reference.
Assist with live event setups, including audio mixing, video switching, and on-site support.
Provide user training and technical guidance to non-technical staff.
Stay updated with emerging AV technologies and recommend new solutions to enhance capabilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Audio Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in Audio-Visual engineering or support role.
Hands-on experience with AV hardware: projectors, display panels, video conferencing systems, audio mixers, amplifiers, microphones, and speakers.
Experience with AV control systems: Crestron, AMX, Extron, or similar platforms.
Good knowledge of video conferencing platforms: Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex, BlueJeans.
Strong troubleshooting skills on audio, video, and network integration issues.
Familiarity with signal routing, cabling (HDMI, SDI, XLR, Cat5/6), and AV system design principles.
Basic understanding of network protocols and IP-based AV technologies.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks independently.

CTS (Certified Technology Specialist)
Crestron Certified Programmer
Extron AV Associate
