Ayurvedic Medical Officer job recruitment in Odisha Public Service Commission (Odisha PSC)

Odisha PSC recruiting 221 Vacancies for the post of  Ayurvedic Medical Officer


Qualification : Bachelor's Degree in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) or equivalent degree from an University or Institution recognised by the Central Council of Indian Medicine and he/she must have registered himself/ herself under the Odisha State Council of Ayurvedic Medicines

No. of Vacancies : 221

Pay Scale : Rs.9,300 to Rs.34,800

Age : 21 - 32 years as on 1st day of January 2018

Place of Examination: The written test will be held at Cuttack/Bhubaneswar.

Selection Process : The selection of candidates for recruitment to the posts of Ayurvedic Medical Officer shall be made on the basis of written test(Objective type- Multiple Choice Questions) and career marking. The career marking will be for 30% (10% each for class 10th, class 12th and BHMS) and 70% for written test. The written examination shall be of two papers carrying 100 marks each with duration of one & half hour for each paper. No negative marking system will be followed in the written examination in case of wrong response (answer).

Fee : A candidate is required to pay a non-refundable and non-adjustable fee of Rs. 500/-(Rupees five hundred) only. Candidate belonging to Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe of Odisha and Persons with Disability (whose permanent disability is not less than 40%) are exempted from payment of this fee.
