Job Summary

The B2B Engineer – Wireline Delivery is responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of wireline connectivity for Airtel B2B customers, including site readiness, installation, testing, activation, and handover. The role requires close coordination with customers, field teams, vendors, and internal network teams to ensure timely service delivery as per committed TAT/SLA.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of B2B wireline services from order initiation to service activation.
• Coordinate with customers for site readiness, access, permissions, and installation requirements.
• Conduct/coordinate site surveys and validate technical feasibility for service delivery.
• Coordinate with field engineers, technicians, vendors, and internal teams for fiber/cable deployment and installation.
• Monitor fiber connectivity, last-mile readiness, equipment installation, and network configuration.
• Ensure timely completion of installation and activation as per committed TAT/SLA.
• Track pending orders and proactively identify delivery bottlenecks and dependencies.
• Coordinate with Network, NOC, O&M, Sales, Project, and vendor teams for timely issue resolution.
• Perform basic troubleshooting during installation and coordinate with technical teams for complex issues.
• Validate service availability and conduct testing before customer handover.
• Ensure all delivery-related documentation, system updates, and closure activities are completed accurately.
• Maintain regular updates on order status, aging, pending activities, and expected closure dates.
• Escalate critical delays and customer-impacting issues proactively.
• Ensure compliance with Airtel's quality, safety, process, and operational standards.
