- Strong technical ability with Python, Django, AWS, PostgreSQL and APIs
- Ability to learn new development languages, frameworks and libraries
- Team player with solid work ethic
- Thrive in fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Skills that are not required but would add value
- Experience with developing and deploying Machine Learning algorithms
- Big data processing (e.g. Spark)
- Experience with React and front-end coding (HTML, CSS)
- Experience with building micro services
- Take ownership of defined sections of development, from ideation to creating technical specifications, to development, through to deployment
- Write elegant and scalable code that meets technical and business specifications
- Communicate and collaborate with team members and provide regular updates on project progress and any outstanding issues
- Continually share ideas and knowledge with the team, to up skill yourself and others around you
- Keep up to date with trends and emerging technologies
