Backend AWS Developer for 1 month fixed term contract with possible extension
**IMMEDIATE REQUIREMENT** - Applicant should be available to join within next 2 weeks.
Compensation: 1,00,000 - 2,00,000 per month
Job Description:
Magic Factory is looking for an experienced Backend AWS Developer for a client working on scaling up the “world’s fastest mobile keyboard app” as per Guinness world records with over 5 million users currently. The client is building the next gen Keyboards SDK for mobile apps. While we seek profiles from diverse experience fields, at the least we have these below requirements.
Skills:
- Experience with the core AWS services
- Proficiency in at least one of the following: Java / PHP / Python / .NET
- Experience in Linux/Unix administration is a plus.
- Experience with building or maintaining cloud-native applications.
- Past experience with the serverless approaches using AWS Lambda is a plus. For example, the Serverless Application Model (AWS SAM)
- Extensive experience in Developing APIs/Microservices, EC2 implementation
- VPC, Lambda, S3, Glacier, Deep Archive, Cloudfront, API Gateway, SNS, STEP, SQS, SES.
- Good communication and analytical skills, team player
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in engineering / maths (preferably computer science)
- At least 5+ years of software development and cloud engineering experience
- Strong experience in working with AWS and all its relevant frameworks
- Backend experience in building mobile apps
- Strong understanding of SDLC processes
- Willingness to work in UK timezone
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience of working with a startup
