Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Back Office Assistant to support our customer service and operations teams. The role primarily involves handling inbound calls related to transactions, payments, billing inquiries, fraud claims, and disputes. You will assist customers with credit limit adjustments, card replacements, and account updates, while educating them on the company’s benefits, rewards programs, and policies.
This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inbound Call Handling

Manage inbound customer calls concerning transaction queries, payment processing, billing issues, fraud claims, and disputes.

Provide accurate and timely responses to customer inquiries, ensuring clarity and professionalism.

Document and track all call details and resolutions in the customer management system.
2. Account Management Assistance

Assist customers with requests related to credit limit adjustments, card replacements, and account updates.

Verify customer identity and authenticate information before processing account changes.

Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements during account modifications.
3. Customer Education and Support

Educate customers on available benefits, rewards, loyalty programs, and relevant policies.

Explain terms and conditions clearly to help customers maximize their product usage.

Address customer concerns empathetically and provide solutions or escalate issues when necessary.
4. Fraud and Dispute Resolution

Support the fraud investigation team by collecting necessary information from customers regarding suspicious transactions.

Guide customers through the dispute resolution process and update them on case status.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate resolution of claims.
5. Coordination and Documentation

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, actions taken, and follow-up activities.

Prepare reports on common issues, call volumes, and resolution efficiency.

Assist in improving back office processes and customer communication based on feedback and observations.
Technical Skills:

Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Experience with CRM and call management systems.

Basic understanding of transaction processing and account management systems.
