Job Overview:
We are hiring a Back Office Assistant for our growing e-commerce firm that handles packaging, stock management, and order processing for leading platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Jiomart, and others. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, comfortable working with computers, and willing to assist in light packing work.
This position offers valuable experience in retail packaging, inventory updates, and basic e-commerce backend processes. Training will be provided, and freshers are welcome to apply. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for candidates looking to begin a career in warehousing, retail, or e-commerce operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Packing and Dispatch Preparation:

Perform retail packaging of products such as stationery items (file folders, notebooks, envelopes, etc.) as per standard guidelines.

Label and pack items for orders placed on platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Jiomart, and others.

Ensure proper packaging to avoid product damage during shipping.
2. Inventory & Stock Maintenance:

Regularly update stock data in the inventory management system or Excel sheets.

Check incoming and outgoing stock physically and match it with digital records.

Maintain proper records of products packed, shipped, or returned.

Perform stock counts weekly or monthly as directed.
3. Order Processing:

Receive order details from e-commerce portals or supervisors and ensure timely processing.

Cross-check product names, SKUs, and quantities before packaging.

Assist in printing invoices, shipping labels, and packing slips using computers and printers.
4. Computer-Based Work:

Use basic computer tools (Excel, Word, or custom software) to track and update stock levels.

Respond to listing or stock update tasks as instructed by supervisors.

Perform basic data entry related to product listings, barcodes, pricing, and stock movement.
5. Coordination with Warehouse or Dispatch Team:

Coordinate with courier or delivery teams for timely pick-up.

Ensure accurate documentation is shared with delivery agents.

Assist in following up on delivery status and returned shipments.
Required Skills:

Basic knowledge of computers (MS Excel, data entry, typing, and printing).

Willingness to do light physical work like packing and organizing shelves.

Ability to understand order and product information quickly.
