Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and organized Back Office Assistant to support our day-to-day administrative and data-related operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing records, updating databases, preparing reports, handling documentation, and providing support to other departments. This is a non-customer-facing role focused on accuracy, confidentiality, and operational support.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in digital and physical formats

Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations as required

Handle filing, scanning, photocopying, and document management

Assist with inventory tracking, order processing, and recordkeeping

Maintain internal databases and update client or employee information

Support the accounts team with bill entry, voucher preparation, and basic bookkeeping

Coordinate with the front office or other departments for administrative support

Ensure documents are properly archived and easy to retrieve when needed

Follow up with vendors, clients, or team members via email or phone as instructed

Maintain confidentiality of all company and client information
Required Skills and Competencies:

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and basic computer operation

Strong attention to detail and data accuracy

Good written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple tasks

Honest, disciplined, and well-organized

Basic knowledge of office equipment (scanner, printer, copier)

Willingness to learn and adapt to company systems and procedures
Preferred Qualifications:

Graduate in any stream

Prior experience in back-office work, data entry, or clerical jobs is an advantage

Familiarity with ERP or database software is a plus (Tally, Zoho, etc.)
