Back Office/Data Entry Executive
Job Description
A Back Office/Data Entry Executive plays a vital role in supporting business operations by accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in company databases and systems. This position ensures that information is handled efficiently and confidentially, facilitating smooth workflow between departments. The role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Compare data with the source documents, apart from re-entering data in the verification format, in order to detect errors.
- Compile, sort as well as verify the accuracy of the data before entry is done.
- Maintain the logbooks of activities along with completed work.
- Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities and checking the output.
Required Skills:
- Experience with MS Office and data programs
- Typing speed and accuracy
- Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation
Key Responsibilities:

Data Entry and Management:

Accurately enter data from various sources into computer systems or databases.

Verify data for completeness and accuracy before inputting.

Update and maintain records regularly to ensure up-to-date information.

Documentation and Filing:

Organize, sort, and file physical and electronic documents as per company guidelines.

Prepare reports, spreadsheets, or summaries based on entered data when required.

Back Office Support:

Assist in managing office correspondence, emails, and communications.

Support other departments by providing necessary data and documentation.

Handle routine administrative tasks such as scheduling, coordinating meetings, and maintaining office supplies.

Quality Control and Compliance:

Ensure all data entries comply with company standards and confidentiality policies.

Identify and correct errors or discrepancies in data promptly.

Maintain the security of sensitive information.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with team members, supervisors, and other departments to facilitate smooth data flow.

Report any issues or irregularities in data processing to the concerned authority.

Use of Software and Tools:

Qualifications and Skills:
