Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service & Assistance:

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing their banking needs.

Provide information about bank products and services, such as account types, loans, credit cards, and savings programs.

Respond to customer inquiries regarding their accounts, banking transactions, and policies.

Resolve customer concerns or issues promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Banking Transactions:
-
Process customer deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and check cashing efficiently and accurately.

Handle transactions involving various types of accounts, including checking, savings, and fixed deposits.

Perform account reconciliations and adjustments when necessary to ensure accurate records.

Process payments for loans, credit card bills, and other banking services as requested by customers.

Account Management:

Open new accounts for customers, ensuring that all required documentation is completed accurately.
-
Update customer records and account details in the bank’s system.
-
Assist customers with account-related changes such as address updates, name changes, and account closures.
-
Ensure that all account documentation is maintained in accordance with bank policies and regulations.

Compliance & Record Maintenance:
-
Adhere to bank policies and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance during all customer transactions.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all banking activities, including deposits, withdrawals, and account changes.

Follow security procedures to safeguard sensitive customer information and protect against fraud.

Prepare and submit reports related to banking activities, transactions, and daily reconciliations as required.

Cash Handling & Balancing:

Accurately handle cash, ensuring that all cash transactions are properly recorded.
-
Balance cash drawers and ensure the proper documentation of daily cash activities.

Report any discrepancies or issues in cash balances to the supervisor or branch manager.

Administrative Support:

Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document scanning.
-
Provide support for branch operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day activities.

Help in preparing customer statements, transaction histories, and other account-related documents.

Sales Support:

Identify and promote additional banking products and services that meet the customer’s needs.
-
Assist in cross-selling bank products such as personal loans, credit cards, and savings accounts when appropriate.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with team members and supervisors to ensure that customer service and operational goals are met.

Participate in training and development programs to stay updated on banking products, services, and compliance regulations.
