Job Summary
A Banking Executive plays a key role in managing customer accounts, processing financial transactions, cross-selling banking products, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations. The role requires strong financial knowledge, customer service skills, and the ability to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Service & Account Management
- Assist customers with account opening, deposits, withdrawals, and loan applications.
- Provide information on savings accounts, current accounts, credit cards, and other banking services.
- Handle customer queries regarding bank policies, interest rates, and transaction issues.
2. Financial Transactions & Operations
- Process cash deposits, withdrawals, fund transfers, and cheque clearances.
- Ensure accuracy in transaction processing and maintain daily records.
- Assist in KYC (Know Your Customer) verification and fraud prevention.
3. Sales & Business Development
- Promote and cross-sell banking products such as loans, credit cards, mutual funds, and insurance.
- Build and maintain relationships with retail and corporate customers.
- Meet sales targets for financial products and services.
4. Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to RBI guidelines, banking policies, and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records for audits and regulatory checks.
- Identify and report any suspicious transactions or potential fraud cases.
5. Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for management.
- Work closely with loan officers, financial advisors, and branch managers to improve banking operations.
- Assist in branch audits and process improvements.
