We are looking to hire a Banquet Manager for Grand Vilas Banquet, Noida.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Event Planning and Coordination

Collaborate with clients, event planners, and the sales team to understand event requirements.

Review banquet event orders (BEOs) and ensure accurate translation into operational plans.

Plan the logistics for each event including floor layout, equipment needs, and staffing.

Coordinate with kitchen, service, housekeeping, and audio-visual teams to ensure timely preparation.
2. Team Leadership and Staff Supervision
-
Hire, train, schedule, and supervise banquet servers, captains, bartenders, and support staff.

Conduct daily pre-event briefings to assign roles, review service standards, and explain event flow.

Monitor staff performance during events, ensuring adherence to service quality and etiquette.

Motivate the team to deliver exceptional service and maintain high morale.
3. Event Execution
-
Oversee setup and teardown of all banquet events, including furniture arrangement, linen placement, décor, and buffet or bar stations.

Ensure timely food and beverage service during the event, maintaining consistency and professionalism.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues on the spot, such as guest complaints, equipment malfunction, or staff shortages.

Ensure all health, safety, and sanitation regulations are followed.
4. Customer Relationship and Satisfaction

Act as the main point of contact for clients during events, ensuring their needs are met in real-time.

Provide courteous and prompt service to VIPs, wedding parties, corporate groups, and other clients.

Solicit client feedback post-event to identify improvement areas and strengthen relationships for future business.
5. Inventory and Cost Management
-
Monitor usage and inventory levels of banquet supplies such as glassware, cutlery, table linens, and decorations.

Ensure all equipment is handled properly and reported if damaged.

Manage labor and supply costs to align with event budgets and company profitability goals.

Coordinate with the purchasing or F&B store team for timely requisition of items.
6. Reporting and Administration

Prepare event reports detailing guest count, staffing, expenses, feedback, and incident logs.

Maintain records of client contracts, event schedules, and vendor contacts.

Analyze event profitability and recommend cost-saving or upselling strategies.

Attend department meetings and collaborate with F&B, sales, and housekeeping to improve overall operations.
