Job Description
Coffee Preparation: Mastering the art of brewing coffee using various techniques such as espresso machines, French press, pour-over, and more. This involves grinding coffee beans, pulling shots of espresso, steaming milk, and creating latte art.
Menu Knowledge: Being knowledgeable about different types of coffee, tea, and other beverages offered on the menu. This includes understanding the flavor profiles, ingredients, and preparation methods.
Maintaining Equipment: Ensuring that coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment are clean, properly maintained, and in good working condition.
Cash Handling: Processing transactions, handling cash, and using point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately.
Cleaning and Organizing: Keeping the work area clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies. This includes cleaning coffee machines, counters, tables, and restocking ingredients.
Adhering to Health and Safety Standards: Following health and safety guidelines to maintain a hygienic environment for food and beverage preparation.
Upselling and Promotions: Recommending additional items or promotions to customers to enhance their experience and increase sales.
