Introduction

We are seeking a skilled, customer-focused, and energetic Bartender to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about mixology, hospitality, and creating a memorable experience for guests. A successful bartender will combine technical skills with interpersonal excellence to enhance the overall guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Beverage Preparation & Service

  • Prepare, mix, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.

  • Ensure all drinks are of high quality, consistency, and presentation.

  • Maintain knowledge of new cocktail trends, ingredients, and presentation techniques.

  • Serve beverages responsibly, following legal requirements and company policies.

2. Customer Interaction & Service

  • Greet guests warmly and take orders efficiently and courteously.

  • Provide recommendations on beverages and menu pairings based on customer preferences.

  • Handle special requests and resolve guest complaints promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.

  • Create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere at the bar.

3. Bar Maintenance & Hygiene

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar at all times.

  • Clean glassware, utensils, and equipment after use.

  • Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low-stock items.

  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards in accordance with company policies.

4. Cash Handling & Billing

  • Accurately process customer payments, tabs, and bills.

  • Handle cash, card transactions, and tips according to company guidelines.

  • Maintain records of daily sales and transactions for management review.

5. Inventory & Stock Management

  • Track and manage bar inventory, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and supplies.

  • Assist in ordering stock and maintaining par levels to ensure uninterrupted service.

  • Rotate stock efficiently to minimize wastage and ensure product freshness.

  • Conduct regular inventory audits in coordination with the bar manager.

6. Collaboration & Teamwork

  • Work closely with bar staff, waitstaff, and kitchen teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

  • Participate in team meetings to discuss bar promotions, events, and service improvements.

  • Assist in training new staff on standard operating procedures, safety, and customer service protocols.

  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and professional work environment.

1. Technical & Mixology Skills

  • Ability to prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails, mocktails, and beverages.

  • Knowledge of bar equipment, tools, and techniques.

  • Understanding of drink recipes, ingredient measurements, and presentation standards.
