Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior QlikView and Qlik Sense Developer with around 8 years of experience in Business Intelligence and Data Visualization. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable BI solutions using Qlik technologies. The role requires strong expertise in data modeling, ETL scripting, dashboard development, and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using QlikView and Qlik Sense.
Develop data models, ETL scripts, and data transformations using Qlik scripting.
Integrate data from multiple sources such as SQL databases, APIs, cloud platforms, and flat files.
Optimize dashboard performance and data refresh processes.
Work closely with business stakeholders and data analysts to gather requirements and translate them into BI solutions.
Implement data governance, security, and access control in Qlik environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve data issues, performance bottlenecks, and application errors.
Support QlikView to Qlik Sense migration projects where applicable.
Create documentation for data models, ETL processes, and dashboards.
Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business teams in an agile environment.
Required Skills
Strong experience in QlikView and Qlik Sense development (minimum 7–8 years).
Expertise in Qlik scripting, data modeling, and dashboard design.
Experience with SQL and relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc.).
Knowledge of ETL concepts and data warehousing.
Experience with data visualization best practices.
Understanding of Section Access and security implementation in Qlik.
Familiarity with Qlik Management Console (QMC) and server administration.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Qlik NPrinting.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Experience with REST APIs and data integration tools.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodology.
Experience in migration from QlikView to Qlik Sense.
