Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and efficient Bike Delivery Boy to join our logistics team. The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver packages, food, groceries, documents, or other items to customers on time, safely, and professionally using a two-wheeler. This is a field-based job that requires someone who is physically fit, punctual, and customer-friendly.
The delivery boy acts as a representative of the company to customers and must maintain a positive attitude, ensure proper handling of items, and adhere to traffic and company rules. Candidates must own or be able to operate a bike/scooter and possess a valid driving license.
Key Responsibilities

Pickup and Delivery:
-
Pick up orders from the assigned store, warehouse, or outlet.

Ensure correct and timely delivery of items to customers at their doorstep.

Cross-check the items before delivery to ensure quantity and quality.

Get customer signatures or OTPs upon delivery to confirm receipt.

Route Planning and Navigation:

Use GPS-enabled apps or delivery platforms to follow the most efficient delivery routes.

Manage multiple deliveries efficiently within specified time frames.

Navigate through traffic, roadblocks, or alternate routes when needed.

Customer Interaction:

Communicate with customers in a polite and respectful manner.

Confirm delivery addresses and handle any location or address-related issues.

Handle minor customer complaints during delivery and escalate major issues to the team lead.

Safety and Compliance:

Follow traffic rules and company safety protocols strictly.

Wear safety gear such as helmet and uniform while on duty.

Ensure the proper handling of fragile or sensitive items.

Vehicle Maintenance:

Maintain the bike in good working condition.

Report any mechanical issues or damages immediately.

Refuel as required and maintain cleanliness of the vehicle.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain delivery logs or update the app after every delivery.

Collect cash or digital payments (if applicable) and submit records daily.

Report undelivered or returned items to the supervisor with valid reasons.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:

Minimum: 10th pass / SSLC or equivalent.

Higher education is an advantage but not mandatory.
Experience:
-
Experience in delivery or similar fieldwork preferred.

Freshers can apply if they meet the driving and license requirements.
License and Documents:

Valid two-wheeler driving license (mandatory).

Own bike or access to a bike (depending on company policy).

Vehicle registration, insurance, and pollution certificate (as required).

PAN card, Aadhaar card, bank account details (for salary processing).
Key Skills Required
