Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Pickup and Delivery:

Pick up packages, parcels, documents, food items, or other goods from the designated source (e.g., warehouse, store, restaurant).

Ensure timely and safe delivery of items to the specified customer address.

Verify delivery details, obtain signatures or OTPs, and update the status on the delivery app or system.
2. Navigation and Route Optimization:

Use GPS or delivery apps to navigate routes efficiently and avoid delays.

Plan delivery schedules to minimize travel time and fuel consumption.

Follow assigned delivery routes and ensure all deliveries are completed within the expected time frame.
3. Customer Interaction:

Maintain a polite and professional attitude when dealing with customers.

Handle customer queries or minor complaints during delivery and escalate any issues to the supervisor as needed.

Collect payments (if applicable) and ensure accurate cash handling or digital payment confirmation.
4. Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain records of delivered items, time of delivery, recipient’s name and signature or OTP.

Provide daily updates to the supervisor regarding deliveries completed, pending tasks, and any issues faced.

Ensure accurate reporting in the delivery tracking system or app.
5. Vehicle and Safety Maintenance:

Ensure the bike is in good working condition; report any maintenance issues promptly.

Adhere to all traffic rules, safety protocols, and company regulations while on duty.

Wear the required uniform and protective gear (such as helmet, ID badge, and delivery bag).
