Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and responsible Bike Rider to join our growing logistics team. The primary responsibility of the Delivery Executive is to pick up and deliver parcels, food orders, documents, groceries, medicines, or other items safely and on time to the designated customers or business partners.

The ideal candidate must own a two-wheeler with a valid driving license, have good route knowledge of the operating area, and demonstrate professionalism in interacting with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Pickup and Delivery

• Pick up assigned orders or parcels from the warehouse, restaurant, store, or dispatch point

• Ensure accurate and safe delivery to the customer at the right address within the expected timeline

• Verify package contents, order numbers, or delivery instructions before starting the route

• Handle fragile or sensitive goods (e.g., medicines, electronics, food) with care

2. Customer Interaction

• Greet customers politely and maintain a positive and professional attitude

• Collect cash (if Cash on Delivery – COD is applicable) and provide receipts when required

• Report delays or delivery challenges to the supervisor or via app/system promptly

• Handle minor customer queries or concerns courteously

3. Route & Time Management

• Plan efficient delivery routes using GPS navigation, maps, or app-based instructions

• Avoid traffic-prone or restricted areas and aim for on-time delivery

• Prioritize multiple deliveries and follow assigned delivery slots

• Maintain fuel efficiency and minimize idling or delays

4. Safety and Compliance

• Follow all traffic rules and road safety regulations

• Wear company-provided uniform, helmet, and ID badge at all times

• Maintain proper documentation including valid driving license, RC book, insurance, and pollution certificate

• Ensure the vehicle is in roadworthy condition (lights, brakes, tires, horn)

5. Reporting and Documentation

• Use the company’s mobile app or delivery management software to update order status

• Submit delivery slips, cash collected, or digital confirmations as per policy

• Inform the supervisor of failed deliveries, customer issues, or product returns

• Maintain records of daily tasks, mileage, and expenses (if applicable)
