Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Biomedical Engineer with expertise in the Histopathology department. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting histopathology equipment used in laboratories and hospitals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Equipment Installation & Maintenance:
- Install, calibrate, and maintain histopathology lab equipment, including:
- Tissue Processors
- Microtomes
- Cryostats
- Slide Stainers
- Embedding Centers
- Conduct preventive maintenance and routine servicing to ensure equipment efficiency.
2. Troubleshooting & Repairs:
- Diagnose and repair technical issues in histopathology instruments.
- Provide on-site and remote support to resolve equipment malfunctions.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for spare parts and upgrades.
3. Quality Assurance & Compliance:
- Ensure equipment compliance with regulatory standards (ISO, NABL, FDA, etc.).
- Perform quality control checks and calibration of lab instruments.
- Maintain detailed service logs and reports.
4. Training & Technical Support:
- Train lab technicians and pathologists on proper equipment usage.
- Provide technical support for histopathology laboratory processes.
5. Research & Innovation:
- Stay updated on new technologies and advancements in histopathology.
- Recommend upgrades and process improvements for efficiency.
