Biomedical Researcher/Engineer Job Opportunity In Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI)
Project Title: "Computer-Assisted Low-cost Point-of-care Ultrasound (CALOPUS)".
Minimum Qualification: M.E./M.Tech./M.Sc. degree in Biomedical Engineering/ Computer Science/ Engineering/ Medical Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/ IT/ Instrumentation and Control OR Doctorate OR near completion of Doctorate in Electrical Engineering/ Computer Science or an Engineering degree where computational analysis methods development was a major component of the degree
Experience: Experience of image processing or image analysis (MSc) or original computer vision/image processing research (PhD); Experience in co-design of software solutions with end-users. Experience in implementation of research software that has been used in a demonstrator/pilot study. Experience of building software-based systems/devices.
Desirable: Experience of machine learning and knowledge of deep learning. Interest in healthcare technology research. Experience of actively collaborating in the development of research articles for publication; Able to program in C++, and/or python. Knowledge of Tensorflow. Experience in working on inter-disciplinary research.
Desirable Skills: Excellent oral and communication skills (including the proven ability to write in English at a suitable standard for the preparation of written reports and to contribute to discussions with collaborators and scientists in different fields).
