Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Set up laboratory procedures following standard operating procedures (SOPs) with minimal supervision
2. Setting up a lab for plant tissue culture
3. Ensure proper documentation relating to all experiments is kept up to date.
4. Preparation of media and stock solutions
5. Transferring plants on selection media through growth chamber production
