Qualification : Any Graduate with minimum two years of experience of working in social sector. Candidates having Degree in Social Work will be given preference
Remuneration : Monthly remuneration of Rs. 13,000/- (Rupees thirteen thousand) only per month and a maximum of Rs. 3,000/- (Rupees three thousand) only per month for TA/DA/other expenses
Age : Minimum 23 years and Maximum 30 years.

The District of Darrang was created with effect from July'1983 by converting the erstwhile Sub-Division of Mangaldai. The name Darrang was derived from the Bodo word Dourang, which means 'Lilabhumi' (Playground) of Gods. According to Scholar Late Dineswar Sarma, the word Darrang came from Dawrang which means gate, as there was direct entry to Bhutan and from there to Nepal, China etc. Gradually this was known as Darrang.
