- Work with patients in various settings, collecting and labeling blood to be used in transfusions.
- Experience in Blood Bank would be an added advantage.
- Collection, Grouping, Cross matching, Component Preparation, Record keeping, attending Blood camps.
- BSc PGDMLT from Recognized Institute with FDA Approval.
- They also check compatibility of blood before issuing it out for transfusion.
- Blood bank technicians, work in a lab under the guidance of a medical or clinical laboratory technologist or manager.
