Boiler Operator
Job Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Boiler Operator located in Eluru. The Boiler Operator will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of boilers to ensure efficient and safe production processes.
Qualifications
Experience in Boiler Operation and Maintenance
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve boiler-related issues
Strong attention to safety protocols and regulations
Relevant certification or training in boiler operation
Key Responsibilities:
1. Boiler Operation & Monitoring:
-
Start, operate, monitor, and shut down boilers and auxiliary equipment such as pumps, fans, compressors, and fuel systems.

Maintain optimal pressure, temperature, and water level settings as per operational requirements.

Adjust valves, gauges, and controls to regulate boiler operations.
2. Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

Conduct regular inspections, cleaning, and maintenance of boilers, burners, valves, and fuel lines.

Identify and troubleshoot operational issues, leaks, or malfunctions promptly.

Coordinate with the maintenance team for repairs and preventive maintenance tasks.
3. Safety Compliance:
-
Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are strictly followed.

Maintain boiler logs and safety inspection records.

Report incidents, potential hazards, or irregularities to supervisors immediately.

Assist during safety drills and comply with emergency response procedures.
4. Water Treatment & Fuel Handling:
-
Monitor and maintain the quality of feedwater and condensate.

Perform chemical dosing or coordinate with water treatment vendors.
-
Manage fuel inventory and monitor consumption (e.g., diesel, coal, biomass, gas, etc.).
5. Record Keeping & Reporting:
-
Maintain accurate daily logs on boiler performance, fuel usage, water levels, and maintenance activity.

Submit reports to the supervisor or plant manager regarding performance and issues.
