Job Description
Job Summary:
A BPO/Telecaller is a key point of contact between a company and its customers. Working primarily over the phone, the Telecaller is responsible for handling both inbound and outbound calls, addressing customer queries, promoting products or services, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to handle high-pressure sales environments or support-related situations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Calling and Customer Communication:

Make outbound calls to prospective customers to introduce and promote products or services.

Handle inbound customer calls for support, queries, or complaints, depending on the project requirements.

Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, ensuring clear communication and resolution.

Use predefined scripts or call flow guidelines to communicate effectively, while also personalizing calls when necessary.
2. Sales and Lead Generation:

Identify customer needs and offer suitable product or service recommendations.

Generate leads and follow up with interested customers to close sales.

Upsell or cross-sell additional services or features to existing customers.

Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales or calling targets as assigned.
3. Customer Service and Problem Resolution:

Provide accurate information to customers regarding products, services, billing, or technical support.

Escalate unresolved issues to supervisors or relevant departments.

Maintain a high level of empathy, patience, and professionalism, especially when dealing with frustrated customers.

Ensure customer satisfaction through effective call handling and timely follow-ups.
4. Documentation and Reporting:

Record customer interactions, feedback, and transactions in the CRM system accurately and promptly.

Maintain detailed call logs, follow-up information, and outcomes.

Prepare daily or weekly call and performance reports for supervisors.

Share customer insights or recurring issues with the team for continuous process improvement.
