- Managing operations: Directing operational activities, including distribution, customer service, human resources, administration, and sales
- Developing plans: Developing business plans and sales goals, and creating and implementing strategies to improve productivity and sales performance
- Training staff: Hiring staff, leading the onboarding and staff training process, and providing guidance and leadership to enable staff to meet goals
