Branch Manager Sales 

Eligibility Criteria

  • Experience: 6 months to 7 years in Gold Loan Sales
  • Education: Degree/Diploma holders with minimum 1 - 3 years in gold loan preferred
  • Local candidates only (No relocation)
  • Immediate to 30-day joiners preferred

  • Othukkungal, Nilambur, Edappal, Tirur – (Malappuram District)
  • Kalluvathukkal, Manapally – (Kollam District)
  • Pothencode – (Thiruvananthapuram / Trivandrum District

Key Responsibilities:

1. Branch Sales & Business Development:

  • Drive gold loan disbursement by promoting products to new and existing customers.

  • Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets set by the company.

  • Generate leads through local marketing activities, customer referrals, and walk-ins.

  • Develop strategies to increase the branch's market penetration in the local area.

2. Customer Relationship Management:

  • Ensure excellent customer service by maintaining transparency, accurate appraisals, and timely disbursements.

  • Address customer grievances promptly and ensure high customer satisfaction.

  • Encourage repeat business through renewals and top-up loans.

  • Build strong relationships with local customers, vendors, and community influencers.

3. Gold Appraisal & Loan Processing:

  • Oversee or conduct accurate gold purity testing and weight validation as per internal guidelines.

  • Ensure compliance in documentation, KYC, and approval processes before disbursement.

  • Ensure the branch adheres to RBI norms and company policies regarding gold loan lending.

4. Team Management:

  • Recruit, train, and mentor branch staff (Sales Executives, Customer Support, Appraisers, etc.).

  • Assign targets, monitor performance, and ensure timely reporting.

  • Create a high-performance culture by motivating the team through recognition and incentives.

  • Maintain branch discipline, grooming standards, and operational readiness.

5. Operational Compliance:

  • Ensure branch safety, vault security, and gold storage protocols are followed strictly.

  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company and statutory guidelines.

  • Maintain accurate MIS reports, loan registers, daily cash books, and loan files.

  • Manage day-to-day branch operations including cash handling, petty cash, and document storage.

6. Collections & Risk Management:

  • Monitor loan portfolio quality, ensure prompt collections, and minimize NPAs.

  • Initiate soft collections and coordinate with the recovery team for overdue loans.

  • Analyze risk factors and implement preventive actions to reduce credit losses.

7. Marketing and Outreach:

  • Organize local campaigns, door-to-door promotions, and tie-ups with local merchants or jewellers.

  • Display marketing materials, offers, and seasonal schemes to attract customers.

  • Promote cross-sell products like insurance, savings products, or personal loans (if applicable).
