Job Description
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Develop innovative ideas for communicating news and information to employees
2. Assist in implementing and planning, company communication events
3. Prepare and distribute communications templates to leadership for use in sharing corporate information with employees
4. Draft web content for intranet and use SharePoint to publish content
5. Conduct photo shoots of company events and as needed
6. Proofread documents to ensure consistent messaging is clear
7. Create content that motivates and informs employees of important issues, accomplishments, and events involving the company
8. Write draft documents for internal audiences in line with the company's editorial calendar and communication needs
9. Assist in developing communication plans for various corporate projects, programs, and initiatives
10. Provide video production and event communication support
11. Work closely with HR leadership for branding initiatives
Requirements:
1. Creative thinker with a positive attitude; proactive and self-starter
2. Organized and detail-oriented
3. Flexible and able to work independently
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
5. Strong interpersonal skills; collaborative and comfortable working with different teams across HR
6. Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize work
7. Real hands-on experience in your assigned department/function with day-to-day projects, responsibilities, accountabilities, and deadlines
8. Curious and willing to learn new skills
