Job Description
Designation - Head Constable - Radio Operator
Number of Job Vacancies - 217
Educational Qualifications
- 12th Class (10 plus 2 pattern) with aggregate 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.
Or
- Matriculation with two years of Industrial Training Institute (ITI) is required.
Salary
- The selected candidates will receive a salary as per the Pay Matrix Level-4 ( Rs. 25,500/- to Rs. 81,100/- (as per 7th CPC) and other allowances as admissible to Central Government Employees from time to time).
Age Limit
- Candidates belonging to the age group of 18 to 30 years as on 12th May 2023 are eligible to apply.
- Relaxation in age for SC/ ST/ OBC Category and other special categories of personnel in accordance with the Government orders.

Selection Process
- 1st Phase – Written Test
- 2nd Phase – PST, PET & Documentation
- 3rd Phase – Detailed Medical Examination/ Review Medical Examination
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
For Male Candidates:
- 1.6 Km Race to be completed in 6 .5 minutes.
- Long Jump – 11 Feet in three chances.
- High Jump – 3.5 Feet in three chances. (Ex-servicemen and BSF Serving personnel are exempted from Physical Efficiency Test).
For Female Candidates:
- 800 Mtrs race to be completed in 04 minutes.
- Long Jump – 09 Feet in three chances.
- High Jump – 3 Feet in three chances.
Physical Standard Test (PST)
For Male Candidates:
- Height: 168 cms
- Chest: 80 cms (85 cms after expansion)
- Weight: Proportionate to Height and Age as per medical standards.
For Female Candidates:
- Height: 157 cms
- Chest: Not Applicable
- Weight: Proportionate to Height and Age as per medical standards.
