Job Description

AGE LIMIT : 32 years

A bus conductor's primary responsibility is to ensure a smooth and safe passenger experience, including collecting fares, issuing tickets, assisting passengers, and maintaining order on the bus.
Regulating boarding of bus. Assisting passengers in handling luggage. Answering queries of passengers regarding timing, route and fares. Collecting fares and issuing tickets to passengers.
Communication Skills
Effective communication is essential for interacting with passengers, dispatchers, and other drivers. Our training includes communication skills, focusing on clarity, active listening, and professional interaction to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Ticketing & Fare Collection

Issue tickets and collect fares from passengers.
Ensure correct fare collection and provide change when necessary.
Maintain accurate records of ticket sales and fare transactions.

2. Passenger Assistance & Safety

Help passengers board and exit the bus safely.
Assist senior citizens, children, and differently-abled passengers.
Ensure passengers follow safety rules and do not cause disturbances.

3. Route & Schedule Management

Inform passengers about bus stops, routes, and schedules.
Coordinate with the driver to follow the designated route and timetable.
Handle emergency situations such as breakdowns or accidents.

4. Bus Cleanliness & Maintenance Checks

Ensure the bus is clean and presentable for passengers.
Report any damages, malfunctions, or security concerns to the transport authority.
Monitor seat availability and avoid overcrowding.
