Job Description
Role Purpose
We are seeking an experienced PRISM (IBM OpenPages) Testing and Documentation Specialist to support the PRISM platform across documentation, testing, and technology risk compliance. The role will be responsible for ensuring system documentation and test assets are complete, accurate, centrally maintained, and aligned with internal technology and risk management standards.
This role is delivery-focused, with clearly defined outputs expected over the contract duration.
Key Responsibilities
1. PRISM System Documentation
· Review, update, and maintain end-to-end PRISM system documentation, including but not limited to:
o System design and architecture documents
o Data models and data dictionaries
o Interface and integration documentation
o Operational procedures and runbooks
o Configuration and module-specific documentation
· Ensure documentation is:
o Accurate, complete, and up to date across all PRISM modules
o Centrally stored in approved repositories
o Maintained as a single source of truth by the PRISM team going forward
· Establish and follow documentation standards and version control practices.
2. Testing & Test Asset Development
· Develop and maintain testing artefacts for PRISM, including:
o Test strategy and test plans
o Test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts
o Regression, functional, and integration test coverage across modules
· Ensure test assets are reusable and fit for ongoing and future releases
· Work closely with developers, business users, and platform teams to validate test coverage and outcomes.
· Support test execution where required and assist in defect triage and documentation.
3. Technology Risk & Compliance Assessment
· Conduct a desktop assessment of the PRISM platform in collaboration with the Technology Risk Management team
· Validate compliance against internal technology risk, security, and control requirements
· Identify gaps, risks, and remediation actions related to:
o Documentation
o Testing controls
o Technology standards and policies
· Support evidence preparation and responses for internal reviews or audits where required.
4. General PRISM Platform Support
· Assist the PRISM team with additional platform-related activities as needed, including:
o Process improvements
o Knowledge transfer and handover
o Ad-hoc analysis or documentation requests
· Contribute to improving overall platform maturity, governance, and operational readiness.
Deliverables & Planning
· Upon onboarding, the contractor will be expected to:
o Provide a delivery plan with milestones and timelines
o Define clear deliverables covering documentation, testing assets, and compliance assessment
o Provide regular status updates against agreed milestones
Required Skills & Experience
Essential
· Strong hands-on experience with IBM OpenPages (PRISM), preferably across multiple modules
· Proven experience in:
o Test documentation and test script development
o System and technical documentation for enterprise platforms
· Solid understanding of:
o SDLC, testing methodologies, and quality assurance practices
o Risk, compliance, or GRC platforms
· Experience working with technology risk, audit, or compliance teams
· Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline
Desirable
· Experience in financial services, insurance, or regulated environments
· Familiarity with internal technology risk frameworks and control standards
· Experience supporting audits or regulatory reviews
· Exposure to data models, integrations, and reporting within OpenPages
