Job Description
As an Intermediate 2 Business Analyst / Consultant 2, you will play a critical role in delivering solutions for Deloitte’s clients across industries. You’re expected to analyze business needs, gather requirements, and help design processes and technology solutions that support client objectives. At this grade, you’ll often help lead smaller workstreams, mentor junior analysts, and interface directly with client stakeholders.
Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
Requirement gathering and analysis, work with clients to understand current processes, business objectives, and challenges.
Expertise in writing user stories, requirements backlog, requirements traceability and acceptance criteria to guide development and testing.
Experience in business and data analysis, identifying business requirements from diverse stakeholders, understanding user journeys and functional processes.
Experience in estimation techniques for development tasks with technical teams using Agile or traditional methodologies.
Experience using Jira, Wiki, and PowerPoint for project tracking and communication.
Ability to visualize business processes using process diagrams and flow charts.
Stakeholder management, facsilitation of user demos, user training, and delivering compelling presentations.
Experience in preparing user guides, release notes, and other project documentation.
Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation with relevant tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, or other analytics software).
Coordinate and/or execute functional testing cycles, document findings, and collaborate on issue resolution.
Knowledge in SQL queries to extract, analyze, and validate data for business analysis, testing, or troubleshooting.
Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
Deep understanding of global markets, financial risk, treasury management, foreign exchange, trading, international payments and settlements.
Exposure to emerging technologies and their application in solving business problems (e.g., Digital transformation, RPA, Generative AI, Agentic AI, Blockchain, FinTech, service-based delivery models, etc.)
