Job Description
Position Title: Business Analyst Intern
Location: Pune
Duration: First 3 months stipend range 1500-3000 and after 6 months 4000.
Reports To: Business Analyst Manager / Scrum Master
Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst Intern to join our team. As an intern, you will support the business analysis team in identifying business needs, gathering requirements, and analyzing processes to improve business operations. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience working on key projects and initiatives across various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in gathering business requirements through meetings, interviews, and workshops.
- Document requirements, processes, and workflows clearly and concisely.
- Analyze business data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
- Create reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and business performance.
- Support the creation of process flow diagrams and charts to illustrate current business processes.
- Assist in recommending improvements to streamline business operations and increase efficiency.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including business teams and technical teams, to ensure alignment and understanding of requirements.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure requirements are met.
- Assist with system testing to ensure requirements are implemented correctly.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and report any issues or inconsistencies.
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitive landscapes, and best practices to help inform business strategies.
- Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
- Help update and maintain business analysis documentation.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other business analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Familiarity with process mapping tools (e.g., JIRA) is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous internship or academic project experience in business analysis or data analysis.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Basic understanding of business process modeling and requirements gathering techniques.
