Job Description
- Responsible for capturing and articulating business requirements.
- Produce quality and clear documentations required for delivery of the projects.
- Gather requirements from the stakeholders using various methods and facilitate appropriate workshops.
- Communicate clearly with the development team and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
- Supporting architect, scrum team, testing team and agree delivery from initiation of the project until completion.
- Work collaboratively to build robust relationship within business areas and development team.
- Work towards improving processes and enhance efficiency.
- Act as a subject matter expert for specific areas of the business and provide technical oversight during periods of implementation.
- Working towards project deadlines.
- Provide data analysis as required and deliver recommendations to key stakeholders through performance reporting.
- Work towards the personal objectives and towards the team objectives.
- Work towards supporting and monitoring project activities including; UAT coordination, training, communications and go live support
- Responsible for mapping processes – “as is” and “to be”.
- Responsible to keep up to date with business/industry process and sharing knowledge across team.
- Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a Business Analyst role in a project function is a must.
- Experience of working with agile methodology.
- Experience with JIRA/ Confluence or similar tools to track and manage the product status.
- Detailed understanding of the energy supplier’s customer journey and processes.
- Advanced MS Office user.
- The ability to work on own initiative and to tight deadlines with a fast- paced changing environment
- Experience running requirements workshops.
- Expertise in one or more of the following areas SMART metering, business processes (operations and acquisitions), CRM solutions, energy retail regulatory requirements.
- Good analytical skills, including a good understanding of Excel formulas and pivot tables.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills with ability to communicate with Stakeholders at all levels – facilitation and negotiation skills
- Subject matter expert with some Industry knowledge – preferred
