The Business Systems and Data Analyst is a key contributor who learns and understands the current business processes and uses their ability and expertise to recommend well-reasoned ways of enhancing, re-architecting, and improving business processes and technical solutions to support business requirements. 

Business Systems and Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, reporting, and developing recommendations on data related to complex and varied business metrics.

Organizational Reporting & Analysis (50%)·

• Assist in collecting, processing, reporting, and analysis of post-exam and survey research data
• Analyze and propose new approaches to viewing and accessing data
• Keep abreast of new reporting and analytics tools

Application Support (30%)

• Provide the highest level of internal knowledge and technical support capabilities of the HCM software modules and system capabilities
• Support creation application operating processes and procedures with functional business groups

Quality Assurance/Testing (10%)

• In consultation with the Business Analyst, ensure software application and functional updates do not introduce new issues or defects

Planning/Documentation/Training (5%)

• Assist staff with application functionality training and testing
• Manage and coordinate the implementation of IT system updates and new releases to ensure they are timed appropriately; staff training is accounted for and SOPs are adjusted as necessary

Miscellaneous (5%)

• Perform IT support and other IT-related tasks as required
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends
• Participate in various staff meetings
• Participate in training as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Bachelor’s degree required; B.A/M.A in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics
