About the internship
The selected intern(s) role is a functional role requiring a good knowledge of financial instruments and asset classes including equities, fixed income, structured products, funds, and complex derivatives.
Desired Qualifications: Minimum first class graduate B.E, B.Tech, B Sc IT or Computer Science, BCOM (having IT Advanced Diploma)
Required Skills:
1. Knowledge of corporate actions, ratings, market data/pricing
2. Strong functional experience with at least 1 year of experience working in the BSFI sector with knowledge of securities data/pricing/ratings/corporate actions, simple and complex financial instruments plus knowledge of data feed (advantage to have knowledge on data vendors feeds such as SIX Financial, Refinitiv, ICE, Markit, Rimes, Bloomberg, ISO-Swift, etc).
3. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) - ability to communicate/work with people at all levels/backgrounds
4. Good understanding of project lifecycles
5. Work effectively within a team or in isolation
6. SQL/PLSQL knowledge and understanding of data model principles'
