Overview:
A Business Associate is responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships, promoting insurance products, and achieving sales targets. This role involves identifying potential clients, advising on suitable insurance policies, and coordinating with underwriters and claims teams. The ideal candidate should have strong sales, negotiation, and customer service skills, along with a deep understanding of insurance products and market trends.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development & Client Acquisition:
- Identify and approach potential clients for life, health, general, or corporate insurance.
- Develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and marketing strategies.
- Conduct meetings, presentations, and consultations to understand client needs.
2. Sales & Policy Promotion:
- Recommend suitable insurance plans based on client requirements.
- Explain policy terms, coverage, benefits, and exclusions in detail.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets through effective selling strategies.
3. Customer Relationship Management:
- Maintain strong long-term relationships with existing clients.
- Provide regular follow-ups, policy renewals, and post-sales support.
- Address client queries and assist in claim processing when needed.
4. Coordination with Insurance Providers:
- Work closely with insurance companies, underwriters, and financial advisors.
- Stay updated on new policies, premium changes, and regulatory updates.
- Ensure all policy documentation and compliance requirements are met.
5. Market Research & Strategy Development:
- Analyze market trends, competitor products, and customer preferences.
- Provide insights to develop sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
- Participate in training programs and industry seminars for professional development.
