Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Development Associate located in Sriperumbudur. The Business Development Associate will be responsible for generating leads, conducting market research, preparing and delivering presentations, and maintaining effective communication with potential clients. The role also involves identifying new business opportunities and building strong client relationships to grow the company's business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting:

Identify potential clients through research, cold calling, networking, online platforms (e.g., LinkedIn), and attending industry events.

Qualify leads based on criteria such as business size, need, budget, and decision-making authority.

Maintain and update a database of prospective clients using CRM tools.
2. Outreach & Communication:

Reach out to prospects via email, phone calls, and social media to introduce the company's products or services.

Create compelling pitches and presentations tailored to client needs.

Set up meetings or product demos for senior sales or business development executives.
3. Relationship Building:

Nurture relationships with potential and existing clients to build trust and long-term engagement.

Act as a point of contact for client queries and direct them to the appropriate teams when needed.

Follow up regularly with leads to maintain engagement and move them through the sales funnel.
4. Market Research & Analysis:

Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.

Provide insights to the sales and marketing teams based on data collected from interactions and feedback.

Identify potential new markets, industries, or customer segments to target.
5. Collaboration & Strategy Support:

Work closely with the marketing team to support campaigns, content creation, and promotional events.

Coordinate with the sales team to align outreach efforts with sales strategies and targets.

Support the preparation of proposals, sales decks, and reports.
6. Reporting & Data Management:

Track all sales and outreach activities using CRM software.

Prepare weekly/monthly reports on progress, lead status, conversion rates, and market feedback.

Analyze metrics to determine what’s working and where improvements can be made.
