Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Development Associate located in Gurugram. The Business Development Associate (BDA) is responsible for driving business growth by identifying new market opportunities, generating leads, nurturing client relationships, and converting prospects into customers. This entry- to mid-level role is ideal for energetic, target-driven individuals who are passionate about sales, customer interaction, and strategic business expansion.
The BDA acts as a bridge between the company’s offerings and the client's needs, ensuring value-driven engagement throughout the sales process. The role demands strong communication skills, proactive problem-solving, and a hunger for achieving results in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead Generation

  • Identify potential clients through online research, networking, referrals, and outbound efforts.

  • Use tools like LinkedIn, databases, lead-generation platforms, and market directories to create lead lists.

  • Run outbound calls, cold emails, WhatsApp messages, and other outreach methods to engage with prospects.

2. Client Interaction

  • Understand client requirements, pain points, and decision-making processes.

  • Conduct discovery calls to qualify leads and assess alignment with company offerings.

  • Schedule product demos or in-depth consultation sessions with clients (virtual or in-person).

3. Product Presentation and Follow-up

  • Deliver presentations, pitch decks, and demos tailored to the client’s business challenges.

  • Communicate features, benefits, pricing, and USPs (unique selling points) clearly and persuasively.

  • Send follow-up emails, answer objections, and guide leads through the conversion funnel.

4. Sales Conversion

  • Convert qualified leads into paying customers through structured engagement and relationship-building.

  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and packages in consultation with senior sales managers.

  • Close deals while ensuring customer satisfaction and proper documentation.

5. Pipeline Management

  • Maintain detailed records of lead status, conversation history, and next steps using CRM tools (e.g., Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce).

  • Track the sales funnel regularly and report updates to the Business Development Manager.

  • Ensure timely follow-ups and minimize lead drop-offs through strategic engagement.

6. Coordination with Internal Teams

  • Work closely with product, marketing, and operations teams to understand offerings and ensure proper client delivery.

  • Share client feedback and market insights to support product development or campaign adjustments.

  • Resolve client onboarding issues in collaboration with the support and technical teams.

7. Market Research & Analysis

  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer behavior.

  • Research new business models, pricing strategies, and go-to-market techniques.

  • Identify new sectors or client categories where the business can expand.
