- We are looking
for a Business Developer (f/m) to start immediately in our
design studio in Bengaluru.
- Creative Curve has been in the industry since 2013, since the day we
have been working on various types of projects which include Architectural/Interior/Landscape
design projects like, Commercial Complex, Individual villas, Row Houses,
Apartments, etc.
- As a business developer on a full-time contract, you would be
responsible for carrying out complex and challenging tasks as part of an
interdisciplinary project team.
Your tasks will include:
- Quickly
understand the current service and functions of the studio, prepare presentations,
proposals to be imparted to the prospective clients.
- Conduct Market
research and identify prospective clients. Prepare action plans and schedules
to adhere the targeted clients and act as first point of contact for all new
enquiries and clients.
- Business
developments efforts (lead hunting, farming account management, Strategic
planning for new market penetration, market and competitive analysis, partner
development and creative management).
- Perform cold
calls and network with prospective clients & engage them for business
opportunities. Acquiring business with a ratio of 90% Regional business and 10%
National business.
- Follow up on
new leads and referrals resulting from field activity / networking etc.
Coordinating with and reporting to senior managers on business forecast and to
carry out campaigns and business plans.
- Prepare status
reports, including activity, closures, follow up, and adherence to the targets
allotted.
- A passion for
the industry and the studio’s brand and ethos is paramount, as client
relationships, industry knowledge and networking is a large aspect of this
position.
- You will need
to have great initiative and a high level of professionalism, as well as the
ability to articulate the prestige of the studio, through presentations and
client meetings.
- Book client
meeting for project manager and/or obtain new briefs from clients.
- Emailing/updating
database and planning and executing HTML campaigns.
What we expect from you:
- 2-3 years of experience in the field with existing
business network / contacts in real estate / commercial property developers as
well as private clients
- Architecture or interior background is a plus but not
a must.
- Good understanding of current market trends and
ability to evaluate and seize potential business opportunities.
- Follow ups, client visits, presentations together with
the Management Team; flexibility to travel on demand.
- Strong pitch experience and relationship building
skills at all levels.
- Strong planning, time management and problem solving
skills.
- Your own statement approach to design and content.
- Open-minded, interdisciplinary thinking.
- Independent, reliable, structured work approach and
excellent team skills.
- Must have Spoken and written presentations, and
convincing delivery, Confident manner and strong communication and
argumentation abilities, both spoken and written – Local language, Hindi &
English is must.
- Enthusiasm for
thinking up and bringing to life new concepts, as well as implementing them.
- Experimental, able to put ideas into action.
- Good communication skills vis-à-vis the client and the
team.
- Ability to focus on what is most relevant.
- Direct communication with our clients.
- Contract
drafting & negotiations.
- Research on and participation during relevant
networking & industry events.
- Locating relevant PR channels to increase existing
media network.
