Summary:
- The Business Development Manager will be involved in building the market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing school's musical relationships.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Identifying new schools and promotional techniques
- Pitching products and/or services
- Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing schools/customers
- Contacting potential schools via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
- Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
- Attending conferences, meetings, and other educational events
- Preparing presentations and sales displays
- Contacting schools to inform them about new workshops
- Following up for contracts and renewals by phone, email, and in person
- Developing sales goals for the team and ensuring they are met
- Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills
