We are currently recruiting business/market research professionals to join our Marketing & Business Development team. We shall provide essential knowledge & specifics about our industry focuses on the selected team members upon joining our team. A brief description of the roles & responsibilities for the candidates is as mentioned below.
Job Description – Business Development Associate
- Develop a sound understanding of our service offerings, client segments & business value proposition to screen prospects globally.
- Conduct online research to identify prospective buyers (companies & associated contacts) for offering our service offerings.
- Identify industry networking platforms to actively engage and interact with prospects & other industry professionals.
- Initiate engagements with primarily via cold calls, business networking (LinkedIn), Skype, email communications, etc.
- Appropriately present iSpirit value proposition to prospective contact to highlight the impact of our services to client business.
- Gain a better understanding of their needs business operations & current needs.
- Schedule appointments for senior Business Development & OPS team members to present a value proposition to various prospects
- Design & develop various business relationship documents like the proposal, approach note, capability document and pricing letters for on-going engagements with prospects & clients.
- Work with BD manager to device appropriate solution and its approach as per clients’ needs. Promptly create & maintain summaries (MIS) of engagements with clients/prospects at various stages.
- Act as a bridge between Service Delivery & Client teams when the operations are LIVE. Achieve monthly / quarterly / annual revenue & efforts benchmarks.
- Efficient in performing an extensive online research to identify relevant industry professionals (prospects)
- &promptly develop engagements primarily via cold calls, business networking, Skype, email communications;
- Committed to producing essential output to achieve self-efforts & performance benchmarks;
- Is proactive in developing self-knowledge across industrial business operations to foster strong business relationships;
- Prompt in engagements & communication with internal (within the company) and external (clients/partners) teams; Is a strong team player;
- Actively participates in marketing activities for continual prospective sourcing & business networking;
Responsibilities and Duties
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- No hesitation, what so ever, in making back-to-back cold calls for the purpose of marketing/sales globally
- Self-motivated personnel with a sense of ownership & ability to read between thoughts
- Ability to perform “Out of Box” thinking for engagements with industry professionals to lead the conversations towards the direction of “team’s interest ~ sales”
- Savvy with MS Office Suite & other tools required to develop various documents & reports to be shared with client / internal management team(s)
- Good knowledge of industry value chains and essential buying influencers
- Past experience in B2B industry engagements in Europe & North America would be a plus
- Preferred exposure in various B2B marketing approaches
